This mural, named “Tysons Luxury Lilies,” was created by Lawrence “Naturel” Atoigue and commissioned by the Tysons Community Alliance. Inspired by Claude Monet’s “Water Lily” series, it measures roughly 25 by 100 feet. The base of the mural was initially covered in 10 gallons of exterior stucco house paint, and then detailed with around 100 cans of spray paint. It was launched in 2016 as part of a placemaking effort by Tysons Partnership, which is now known as Tysons Community Alliance.
