Opened in 2021, the Scott’s Run Trail is a charming (and winding!) community connector linking the Pimmit Hills neighborhood, Westgate Elementary, and the McClean Metrorail Station. Search the trees for some local wildlife and enjoy the views over Scott’s Run!
Directions to your next check-in: Follow the Scotts Run trail all the way to the end until you reach Magarity Rd.
Directions to your next check-in: Turn left at Magarity Rd and continue on the North sidewalk until you find your next check-in at Anderson Rd.

Home to many of Tysons’ newest buildings, this section of Tysons East has more than 10 office and residential projects in the development pipeline, all just a short walk from the McLean Metro. Keep walking to see what’s in store for this urban street.
Directions to your next check-in: Turn left at Chain Bridge Rd and walk towards the buildings ahead. At Colshire Dr, use the crosswalks to get over to the Archer Hotel on the diagonal corner.
You don’t have to be a guest at Archer Hotel to experience the flavors at the AKB in the hotel lobby. It is also one of the places you can use that $300 Experience Tysons gift card that you are trekking toward!
Directions to your next check-in: Walk North on Colshire Dr, past the bus shelters and towards the Silver Line tracks. Use the pedestrian button and crosswalk to cross Dolley Madison Blvd at street level. Continue to your next check-in by the Wegmans at Capital One Dr.
You are just steps from Wegmans, Capital One Field, and great restaurants and public spaces at Capital One Center. Standing at this corner, you can see the recently opened Capital One Metro Park which has a new exit from the McLean Metro station as well as 4 pickleball courts, a playground, a mini soccer pitch, and some shaded seating.
Directions to your next check-in: Continue walking past the Wegmans on Scotts Crossing Dr. Turn left at Capital One Dr and check the Capital One Center sign for local attractions. Your next check-in will be at the corner of Capital One Dr and Capital One Tower Rd.

Home to Capital One Hall, a rooftop public park called the Perch that also has mini golf, award-winning restaurants and public art around every corner, Capital One Center is a walkable hub for urban art and culture.
Directions to your next check-in: Cross Capital One Tower Rd to continue west on Capital One Center Dr and walk towards the planted roundabout down the block. At the roundabout, take a couple of left turns to follow Capital One Drive around. At the next intersection with Capital One Tower Dr, cross to the right and walk toward the Metro tracks straight ahead and you’ll find the final check in at the corner of Dolley Madison Blvd & Capital One Tower Rd.
This is the final check-in before you return to the start point. McLean Station is the easternmost Silver Line station in Tysons. As you enter the station, look for “Voyagers,” an art installation by Martin Donlin, of painted glass panels and etched poetry, representing both the physical and cognitive idea of travel and transportation.
Directions: To close the loop on the Red Route, turn left at Dolley Madison Blvd and walk to the McLean Station entrance. Enter the station and take the escalator or elevator to the mezzanine level and use the elevated walkway to cross Dolley Madison Blvd. Ride the escalator or elevator to street level to complete the Red Route.
